Is Y! Answers worth my time anymore?

I just get reported for everything I ask. What happened to fun and freedom of speech? I'm not even saying anything inappropriate! Welp I guess these might be my last days here on Yahoo. Wish some people could get a sense of humor. Have you experienced similar difficulties?

I have found it pretty frustrating for the past three weeks now.I just received three violation notices in the past hour and I know there is another on the way because a question was just removed.3 of the violations are for my questions that were resolved over a week ago.I have been spending less time here and just made all my stuff private.Many of my contacts have had there accounts suspended or deleted and have not come back.Some do return,but it just is not the same.I know you are getting ready to head back to school,I will miss you.I hope you have a good semester.Take care,Roz.I will probably get a violation for this too.I don't care, bring it on.

Y/A has gone down hill, the quality of questions have gone down hill, most likely because all the good ones get deleted! I'm slowly weaning myself off from y/a with the help of this crapness... I already dont come on it much anymore, soon it'll be never, here today, gone tomorrow.

A few weeks ago I was given a violation notice every single day for 8 days in a row, in total since I started coming on this thing I've unjustified 30 violation notices, and lots of questions deleted.

Oh yeah, I have a troll reporting me right and left. I guess I pissed someone off. Don't know if it is worth the time, but keep comeing here anyway. For the most part, it's fun and there just tons of great people on here.

Personally, I never had a question or an answer deleted.... Y!A can be a huge waste of time, but occasionally I am able to give someone good advice, and their comments when they choose Best Answer tell me that I really helped them out. That's why I keep coming back... Also, it is a good way to get opinions and info, if you know how to sort through the answers.

I think that most of us have experienced the same thing on here. I have been reported twice and the last time they didn't even bother to give me a reason as to why my question was deleted. Your question can be perfectly fine but someone wants to be a trouble maker and report you for no good reason and Yahoo! Answers doesn't even bother to read your question. they just delete it. It is pretty discouraging.

You know, there are so many of us with these frustrations! In fact, WE are the majority here - NOT the censors, psychos, and sycophants. These violation-happy vigilantes need to understand this is NOT their place: it’s ours.

I don’t believe all this misery is the result of in-fighting between various P&S groups. It’s much more methodical than that. Here’s what I know: I’m not sure who all her “deputies” are, but this “Mr.” Troll Patrol Boss is one of the people behind what’s happening on our site. When her junta was only 3 days old, JanieMarie (I’m guessing her last name is Robespierre, LOL) gloated about her power to cite us with her full hive of busy bee drones if we even dare answer ONE question she deems as “inappropriate”. You can read her words, here. I find the last half of her entry particularly disturbing.

I agree...every morning I wake up and look in my inbox to find 4 or 5 violaton notices. It is aggravating that someone is going out of their way to this. I am just here messing around trying to have some fun and pass the time. It is to bad a few pains in the *** need to ruin it for the rest of us.

It's also fun to make a 360 page and fix it up to your liking and socialize a bit if you haven't already done so . I would like to see you stay though I have noticed a few of your questions get deleted which surprised me . I do have periods in which I get violations also . Hang in there and maybe it will change : )

don't go i know its getting bad and really aggravating because they are suspending people for no reason. maybe they will get the corn cob out of their behind and buy a sense of humor. i have posted many questions that get deleted i think they need a place were younger people go so we can get on here and have fun without getting reported

I'm more than a little annoyed. This is a fun Y/A catagory. I don't get why Q&A's arent deleted from the politics section, people get really nasty there. I am not going to let the evil doers on troll patrol ruin my fun.
