Most of the time, I would say no they don't. But there have been a lot of changes in society since I went to JH & HS. It depends on where you got the idea. Did anyone put it in your head? Do you have gay friends? Have you ever been interested in a girl? It is amazing what ideas people can put in your head just to make you fit in. But if you think it has nothing to do with anyone else's ideas or being around them, than maybe you are. There are a lot of people who believe that we all have different weaknesses that we need to learn to overcome and that those feelings are one of some peoples weaknesses. That is just something to throw out to you. I don't know what your beliefs are. Sometimes you can really be in awe with a person of the same sex and you might think you are gay, but depending on how old you are, I hope you know the difference. Don't try things out until you explore things in your mind and talk to a counselor or an older friend that you can trust that will be open to either side. I can tell you this that there are many curious people, like what would it be like, if that helps at all. Good luck and don't make any rash decisions.

Not everyone experiences it, but yes, it's fine for girls and boy to have a point in life when they wonder if they're gay or lesbian, or sometimes even bisexual. some people will just worry that they will turn out gay, some want to be, some end up gay, some don't. I have nothing against homosexuals, so i think whatever happens should happen and you shouldn't worry about it.

Not necessarily. When puberty hits, sensual or sexual feelings blossom all over the place, sometimes towards members of the opposite sex, sometimes of the same sex, most often a little of both. It can get very confusing, very emotionally weird and occasionally troubling.
It is natural, however, and very human. Sometimes you find yourself wondering what gender you prefer, or might really feel like being. Occasionally, you might find yourself experimenting or imagining. It just means you're growing up and discovering who you are.

I don't think everyone does, but some teens do just because it is a very intense time in their lives, with hormones raging, and bodies changing, it is quite common for teens to question themselves about sex and sex related issues.

I think it is a good idea if you spoke to a counselor, I understand you were sexually abused by someone (question history) so these feelings are probably related to that event and what you felt.

Some think they are ,but don't count on it. If you have feelings for the same sex for a long time, then you might be gay.
