I found my mom dead on the floor in her bedroom. She was still warm but it was too late. It's been 5 years and it's still hard to talk about it or think about it. I still break down and cry from time to time. She was only 46 and really fit and healthy- it was a shock.
Oh yeah- 6 months after my mom passed away my dad told me he was going to marry some lady. He moved in with her, and I was basically forced to drop out of college so I could take care of my sisters. *things are better now and I was able to go back to school.

hitting an 18 wheeler head on in 2004. spent 3 weeks in the hospital. don't remember the first 2 weeks ya see i was hooked to a morphine pump. i still carry the traumatic experience to this day...!!!

This is a bit tough...thinking...either the loss of my Dad at 11 or being raped at 15, both were pretty traumatic.

Having my son 3 months early..he was born at only 2 pds at birth..and it was soo scary seeing him hooked up to a bunch of wires and breathing machines..and then his dad decided to cheat on me..while the baby was still in the hospital clinging to life..took me along time to fully trust anyone after that!

I was walking back to my apartment, and the drunk guy was all up in my face and he had a pair of scissors, and he proceeded to try to snip my clothes off. I struggled and the scissors went 1 inch into me!!! He ran away but passed out like 2 blocks later....loser he was....

After my parents were divorced, I hardy saw my father. I felt pretty much abandoned. I pray everyday that I am a better father than that. My wife tells me I am, but I feel like I'm running away from being like that. Like I will inevitably become this cold man who doesn't give a sh!t about his kids. Well that's me...

I almost drowned when I was little!I fell in a deep hole full of water and I couldn't swim!I was lucky that someone saw all this and he managed to get me out of there before I could swallow too much water!

Walking in and finding the man I was in love with, dead. The worst part was never knowing for sure that it was an accidental drug overdose, or intentional.

a few months ago i was traumatized by learning that my sons friend baby fell down from his home second floor then went into a coma and died.
