But When I bought my old laptop it was very expensive becuase i made sure i upgraded the ram upto 512 MB for the computer to last for a very long time! And i bought it back in January of 1999 and due to customizing my computer to be fast for a very long time it cost me $5,600 dollars. Back then most laptops were still build with only floppy disk drives and my laptop doesn't have cd rom!

I remember that i can install windows 98 through 6 floppy disks! is there a website that let's me download windows XP and extracted to bottable floppy disks to install windows xp!!! I HEARD IT DOES EXIST BUT I HAVE DIFICULTY FINDING IT!!!

Ofcourse I know that this windows will not be completely full as other windows XP's in General!!! But It will only be Minimally full
just with Windows Media Player, Internet Explorer and probebly just My Documents Folder! And then all I am supposed to do is simply download Service Pack 2 to completely Fully update this windows XP! PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN!!!

No. If it's that old that it has no CD at all, it won't handle XP. Don't go there, you will not be happy.

You can buy an external CD rom, but ask yourself this, does that laptop have usb ports?

I think you are in for a bunch of wasted time and aggravation for nothing.

512 is not enough RAM to run XP.

the only way you can do this
is to copy the i386 folder to the hard drive via a network port ( do you have a usb port? then get a portable cd rom )
boot to the floppy then run the install from the hard drive
BUT
even stripped xp ( using nlite )
it will slow you laptop to an unacceptable crawl
as with 512mb of ram and i'll assume an old 486 or early 586 pentium 2 or 3 processor it will not be worth the install of xp

You can not install from floppy, however you can download boot disks from MS to start the installation and then it would be possible to install from a different source like an external USB drive. It would just take way too many floppies and is not possible.

You cannot install Windows Xp through floppy disk. You can onlu possibly install Windows XP through CD-ROM or downloading the setup from website.

Since you have this much already invested, how about getting an external CD-ROM? I would assume your laptop has a USB port.
I don't know which system you have now, it it's WIN98 you may have to get the USB drivers but it is possible that way.
Here is a link to the Microsoft page that you can download the utility that makes this work.

you can buy a external cd rom drive if your computer as usb ports and you can setup the bios to boot from the usb cd rom drive, other than that you could couple your old laptop up to another computer and install it from there

what other connections do you have?

network
Wi-Fi
USB
FireWire

any of these will let you interface with or copy the files from the Win XP cd in another computer's cd drive or a stand alone cd drive

I would buy an external cd rom, they are quite inexpensive in the U.K. I hope they are not too pricey in your country.
