I had to do a project on Chinese art for Humanities. My group was a bunch of bums and did nothing. I spent 10 hours locating the pieces and checking their authenticity and was up until 2 a.m (it was extremely stressful). The next day, during the presentation. My group trashed all of my had work by delivering the worst presentation in the class. I can't look at Chinese art any more. It bothers me so much, that I go numb inside and can't keep my eyes open to look at it whenever it pops up somewhere. Am I emotinally scarred?

this too, with time, shall pass. don't take this so personally. there are alot of worse problems in the world to be emotionally scarred about; this is not one of them.

You are hurt and embarrassed.

Please apologize this lecture, but it should be looking at the members of the group you can't stand. P;acing the pain and embarrassment on the chinese art is depriving you of something wonderful.

Scarred? I don't know. But it would help if you talked to someone about this.

When you work in a group for a school project, one of the main objectives is to be able to work with the group. The subject is secondary.

no, i think you just suffer from anxiety. if you get really mad over something and then you go back and look at it or something related to it you get all freaked out and you just don't wanna be there. it's happened to me before. i would see a therapist if it's really bad. i had to go to one cuz that happened to me. just keep telling yourself that chinese art isn't bad and there's nothing wrong with it. you have to train your concious to realize that everything is okay.

EVERYONE is emotionally scarred. nothing you ever do DOESN'T leave emotional damage. the idea is to GET OVER IT. stop being such a wus and grow the hell up. life isn't easy or fun.

It sucked but you'll get over it.

Are you emotionally scarred? Dunno. But I would say, if that's the worst thing that has ever happened to you, then fasten your seatblet. It's going to get a helluvalot worse before it's over with.
