everyone may have a preference, but this link will take you to the analysis of bedding done at Consumers Search, where they "review" the reviews.
So many product evaluations are fluff pieces done by beginning magazine staff.
Here, they analyze the methodology.

I have a very affordable comfortable set. It was mismatched which means the mattress and box spring were two different patterns, and noone sees them anyway. Its just firm enough to support you without being hard, and soft enuf to say AHHHH when you lay down. its a simmons beautyrest, Firm... i have the full size.was less than $300 for set.

Whichever one you chose, get a 30-90 day sleep guarantee. Remember, foam beds wear out AND they produce heat since there are no air pockets but I know some people who like them- particularly since they can sleep on their sides better. Harder to get up from a laying position.

Which is cheaper? That is probably the best. When you sell more of a good product, you can sell it cheaper.
