a patriot?
Almost to an individual these are nationalists who believe they love their country. But the dont protect the constitution their core value is make war on anyone percieved as an enemy. By whatever means available.

sweatpea its based on the observations of my lifetime I dont presume anything. Read the posts of all the flag wavers on here they are nationalists almost to an individual. They would proudly take a dump on the constitution if they thought it might catch a terrorist. My neighbor waves a flag all day yet hes a real bastard and the other guy next to me no flag and would help you with anything.

my father worked for freedom as you stated and wheres he at after the big fight with the commies in Vietnam? You are the one that should make yourself sick Al. Your mind has been perverted in a most disgusting fashion. That my father has nightmares about the VC to this day. It was clearly for nothing absolutely nothing because they are still communists and we are their very best trading partners.

I have a flag in my room. I know that doesn't make me a patriot...still I like to keep it there.
America is a great country. I wish the neocons would appreciate that. I wish they would want the best for this country rather than being the errand boys for some "other" nation.

I don't fly the flag of the federal government of these united states anywhere. I am a protectiontist who loves america and those who embrace the true american spirit. there are plenty of idiots who blindly support the federal government and it's march for global dominance and consider themselves patriots....i consider them fools.
whose flag will they be flying once the North american union deal is completed and all three nations become one and there is no more america? that will be the real test. no real american will quietly sit by and allow the federal government throw away our sovereignty by morphing into some continental power or global power. Bush is determined to make it happen.

apparently you have offered in to a load of BS and are a sufferer of "team think of" and don't understand the thank you to think of for your self. you're a particular individual. you do no longer very own patriotism, a love of united statesa., or any of those extreme-minded ideals as you will possibly choose to have confidence. You very own the features that allowed Bush to hijack your unfastened will to do his bidding. You have been used, and he did it via taking part in to the indoors maximum shortcomings that maximum folk attempt to cover. Like Samuel L. Jackson's character on the tip of the movie Unbreakable, you become conscious, in trouble-free terms after the fact, of the disgraceful function which you have been destined to play. you will come to realize which you're historical past's undesirable guy. like the McCarthyites or the brownshirts, you will serve the two as an emblem of shame and a warning to destiny generations. you incredibly are a particular individual. He have been given your help via making you sense extra suitable approximately your very own flaws. He informed you to wave the flag because of fact your bigotry isn't something feel embarrassment approximately, and to thump the bible because of fact your lack of expertise is a distinctive characteristic. you should cherish your hatefulness and small-mindedness as they're kin values. you're no longer society's rejects, yet quite, you're bigger on the ladder than specific human beings. actual-wing radio factors them out so as which you realize who to hate to sense extra suitable approximately your self. I did placed out the flag and have confidence in a us of a and don't artwork as you do, to divide the country.

I don't understand why some people feel it their responsibility to tell people what something does or doesn't do for them.
I'm sure the heroes who planted the flag at Iwo Jima didn't see it the way you do...good thing.
Whether I chose to use a flag icon, hang one in my yard or wear a uniform with the flag on it is really no one's business but mine....but thanks for the concern

I think you need to re-state your posting because it sounds like you are saying that people who display flags want war on everyone and anyone by any means available.
That is just plain wrong.

My flag flies because I and my family earned it. We have worked and fought for it. We didn't back down when someone needed to stand up. It irritates me when sick pukes who would never do anything to defend the USA ***** and complain and whine. What should you do with an enemy? Give them a big kiss and the keys to your house?
People like us worked for the freedom of those who do not understand or appreciate what freedom is.

Trick question, the answer is never. We live in an age of narcissism, people can't even admit the possibility that they may be wrong. Even when faced with evidence that makes their position untenable, they'll simply employ congnitive dissonance so they can go on as true believers, regardless of any actuall facts to the contrary.

That's a lot of bigoted hooey. I have a flag on both my icon and my house, because I love my country. I don't think I'd call myself a patriot, however, because I don't think I've earned it.

The far right nationalists and jingoists will never understand. I question not only their intelligence - but often their sanity too.

And just who the hell are you to presume what people think or how they feel? This is one of the most arrogant questions I've seen yet.
