Sounds like you are asking two different questions:
1. Attempted suicide, is it grounds for divorce in the US?
2. If I file a divorce is my status as immigrant affected?

So what really is your question?

Yep

Your greencard was Im going to assume contengent on your marraige lasting 5 maybe 7. If you divorce, no longer reside with her as husband and wife you will be shipped out of here.

In the US you dont need an "excuse" other then you dont want to be married any more as a reason to divorce

Most states have no-fault divorce so you don't really need grounds. "Incompatibility" covers a lot of ground. As for immigrant status, you should consult an immigration attorney.

Depression can ruin marriages, but it is time to get your spouse some help and to offer more love, not less. Stick it out.
