Where can I find other lesbians who aren't drug addicts, criminals, alcoholics, and total losers? Gay Bars are NOT an option. I'd like to get to know other lesbians that actually have goals, careers, and a decent quality of life. However, I certainly can't find any. I'm at the point now where I really don't think they exist at all. I don't meet any through work, volunteer activities, OR pleasure activities that don't involve alcohol/drugs. Any ideas?

From my limited experience, I have noticed a fair percentage of lesbians involved in endurance sports such as running, cycling or triathlon. I would find a local active sports group, maybe for singles even, and check it out. There are (in CA at least) singles groups for endurance sports enthusiasts. I would imagine that there are groups for lesbians as well. Endurance sports are typically favored by well-educated, middle to upper class folks. Some triathlon bikes cost more than my first and second cars put together! Not to say that these folks are w/out their compulsions, they just happen to find "healthier" outlets such as working out and caffeine.

I am now free of the demon drink and o not indulge in other acts, illegal, immoral or fattening.
I have had my failures and loss bit am on a fairly even keel now.

I don't do drugs, nor do I go to bars! Hey, I know a lot of lesbians who don't do drugs, so yes we do exist.
