The circumference of the earth is 24,902 miles (and the shortest distance around the earth).

24,902 mi / month = 830 mi / day = 34.6 mi / hr.

That's about 35 mi/hr, which is the speed of a rabbit or a deer.

So, if you can possibly run at that speed for a whole month, without tiring or stopping, then it's possible.

But highly unlikely...

Plus, there are probably bodies of water you would have to watch out for...hope you bring goggles on your underwater run.

The fastest human speed limit, theoretically is just under 30 mph. Let's say that this person ran a constant 18 mph for 12 hours per day, giving them a traveling distance of 216 miles per day. Running 30 days of a month at this rate would only allow a distance of 6480 miles to be traveled in a 30 day month, a mere 26% of the desired trek (the average circumference of the Earth is 24,880 miles).

These results alone are very unlikely still. 18 mph running speed is very uncommon, and running 12 hours at this speed per day, every day for 30 days would be nearly impossible... not to mention there is no way to run around the entire would on foot :)

So the answer to your question is no... or just very very very very unlikely.

That would be really cool though :) haha.

I hope I was helpful.
Good luck!

Let's say you wanted to run around the equator, rather than cheating and simply walking in a small circle around the north or south pole. If so, your total trip distance is 40,075 kilometers, while your trip time is 1 month (about 30.44 days).

To accomplish this task, you would have to maintain an average speed of at least 34.09 miles per hour. No human is capable of running like that for an entire month, especially considering the human top speed record over short distances (100 meters) is only 22.9 mph.

Even if the earth was all land, and a runner could run continuously without stopping, he would have to run at nearly 35 miles per hour to complete the 25,000 mile run in the 720 hours alotted. This assumes the runner is running around the earth at its greatest circumference. A runner could run around the north pole in a matter of seconds and technically could claim he ran around the world, but I assume you meant, really running around the world.

Some people run up to 100 miles a day, so let us treat this as our maximum, 100 X 30 days gives us 3000 miles, this is just a fraction of the way around the Earth, 24,900 miles so I am going to say no...

We cut funding on military by 50 percent we won't have a country to support anybody soon. Want to live in Mexico? Sharply raise all the rich taxes and they will go somewhere else like many a company's already have. Haven't you noticed we really are in debt.

I think you could run around the earth in less than a month. No kidding. A runner on a treadmill in a plane, flying around the world at the equator. It would have to land every few hours so the runner could recover for a few hours/ days . He/She would have to be in fantastic shape. In less than a month, perhaps in a few weeks the runner would have run around the world.

Yes, but you'd have to be the world's fastest runner . . . like average a hundred miles an hour. Or you could make your run near one of the poles, North or South, where it's not as big around! But dress warm!
