Since I don't own a cat (or should I say "since I am not owned BY a cat"), I am NOT a cat and I've never been used as furniture by a cat, I'm probably not going to get best answer here, am I?

Do you know the difference between a cat and a dog? The dog sees his owner and thinks "Gee, this guy feeds me, pets me, loves me and gives me everything I need. He must be a God". The cat sees his owner and thinks "Gee, this guy feeds me, pets me, loves me and gives me everything I need. I must be a God."

Hi! My cats Michael, Molly and Tripod (missing 1/2 of right high leg) not ony think I am the best piece of furniture next to MY platform bed that THEY sleep on ALL day, but I am the best hunter in the world.
Just think about it, when I come home I have ham, turkey and cheese cold cuts for them. Steak and chicken that are cooked in the oven and make the house smell great to them and wild tuna cat food and expensive dry food from the pet store. They must think I'm a God!! But the joke is on me, who cleans the litter box?

Yes... If only I had a camera! Mine is sitting on my lap, a furry paw right under the space bar. My friend's cat is warming my right foot. My heart makes me doomed to be both cat furniture and cats' maid. LOL... The only thing I really mind is when I wake to find my cat sleeping on my back... Breathing is necessary, but my 16 lb monster doesn't seem to get that!

Only one out of three of ours does while the other two spend most of the day either sleeping or hiding. The one who uses us as warm blooded furniture also thinks he owns the house and runs the household. His name is Gizmo. He even tries to rule our 70 pound dog and does a pretty darn good job of that, also. :o)

Yes, don't they all? Especially when I am laying down they like to lay on top of me. There is a bed beside me I think would be more comfortable but of course it isn't as warm as me I don't suppose.

Yes, indeed. My black and white cat is pushing about 25 lbs and it feels like a bag of potatoes when she sleeps on my lap. LOL.

My lap is always at the perfect angle for my cat to lounge against. It needs to be elevated at exactly the right height for her to be able to scan the entire room. be comfortable, and rest her chin on my knee.

I remember every detail so as to make her happy. :P
