Does anyone live in Forks, Washington? Or La Push, the indian reservation? (Yes, I'm wondering because I've been reading Twilight...)

I don't live in Forks, but I did spend a day and night there when I went to the Hoh Rainforest. The Rainforest is beautiful, and a nice day trip. I'm not sure if there is camping there, but I would think so. It would be nice to camp around there.

Forks is a very small town, with not much to do other than visit the rainforest. There are a bunch of small motels, a few larger motels, and some restaurants. Basically, you can drive through the entire town in about five minutes (if that).

It's a nice place to visit for a day or two, but I would not want to live there.

Forks is VERY much a hick town. I know a family that moved from there, and VERY white trash people. I used to work with the "Mom" (She was only 3 years older than her oldest step-daughter). I asked her about the other people that live there and she said, "Oh, just pretty much like us." That told me ALL I ever wanted to know about Forks.

DONT GO THERE!!!! It's a complete dump and is a waste of time and oxygen to go that far away from civilization. The book may sound nice, but it's a terrible place.
