Has anyone used westernunion.co.uk site to send money from UK to abroad by using western union. They offer an online service where you can pay by credit/debit card.

I want to know if you pay by credit card, would it be a "cash advance" or a "purchase"?

You can get a prepaid credit card visa, AMEX, mastercard at most banks, walmart, and at grocery stores there is no age requirement. If I recall correctly the fee for these is around $5.00. Most international scams start and end with western union. There are a few exceptions like sending money to a family member or a friend.

It would be considered a cash advance, not a purchase.

But if you are sending money for a delivery fee for a prize that you got notified that you won, don't do it - you are being scammed, and if you send it, you'll be out the money - but won't get the "prize".
