Ooh, boy. This is a tough one. I'd say it's a little young, but-- some 14 year olds are very mature, as are some 13 year olds. Me? I was 13 going on 21, and I thought I was ready. I guess it really just depends on the person.

13-14 can only take walks with each other, talk on the phone or hang out at each others house. A "normal" date would be a 16 year old with a drivers license and a car taking a girl to a dinner and a movie. YES?

Are you kidding? OMG...you're probably still nursing and haven't been weened yet. 13-14 is too young. Excel in school, make your parents happy and do something that'll be beneficial to your life in the long run. There's plenty of time to play the dating game.

Yes to young! im 14 and i still dont think im ready, when ur 13 do u even hang out with the peopple and just say "ur dating" like thats so fake a boyfriend isnt a accsorery , so ya no mabye next year? : ]

You asked. I am a mommy & my opinion is yes, too young. My daughter is 15 & she will be allowed to date when she is 16. Same rule will apply to my 12 year old son.

I don't think 13 is too young to date. As long as your a teenager, and smart enough to handle a relationship, then I think it's fine.

13 is defiantly to young. It depends on whether 14 is to young or not. If you were my child, it would depend on how responsible you are, how good your grades are and if we had trust between us as to whether I would allow a 14 yr old to date.

Yes because many of the people who date at that age end up dumping their boyfriend/girlfriend in less then a week.
