It must be years since i seen it. I remember watching it in school.
But basically there's a few kids..they come across some kind of water that makes them immortal.
I distinctly remember two parts of the movie, where one kid was fooling around on a ferris wheel and he fell off and lived.
and
i think the girl of the movie gave the water to a turtle that was being cooked. and the turtle survived at the end
I have no idea who was in the movie i only remember some of the plot, but it's driving me crazy.

For some reason, although I haven't seen it in awhile, I am thinking it is "Tuck Everlasting". A Disney movie about a family who has been basically immortal for their whole lives. They found the elixir of life.
That is the only movie that I can think of.

Tuck everlasting is similar.. but I it's not what you are looking for.. no turtle being saved.. etc.. I honestly can't think of any other movie even close though...
