The Snake You Held At The Convention Was Probably A Few Years Old.

If You Have Ordered A Baby Boa Then Always Make Contact With It. So It Gets To Know Who You Are, And It Gets Used To You. So When It Grows Up It Will Be Calm When It's With You ETC :)

My pink tail boa is as effective as my corn snake. some snakes are meaner than others no longer all pink tail boas. in case you will come across a much bigger cage then I reccomend the snake i think of they are outstanding. A fifty 5 could be tremendous for over a 300 and sixty 5 days yet while it gets larger you may elect a a hundred gallon. If yours does purely get 5-6 ft then you definitely do no longer might desire to feed it bunnies i think of this is for the 8 footers yet i'm no longer so advantageous. reliable success to you

Boas and pythons are what people call two people snakes. They take two people to handle safely. They usually are very sweet snakes until feeding time. Thats when they can be aggressive. Also if you or anyone that spends any time in your house has small kids (i'd say ten and under) dont get one. A snake that big can easily kill a small child or a cat or dog as well.

Though sometimes impressively large, boa constrictors are not the giant snakes of the popular imagination. Depending on their geographic origin and sex (females are usually somewhat larger), they can reach from 4 to 12 feet as adults. The largest boa constrictor in captivity is a 14.5-foot long female from Suriname that resides at the San Diego Zoo. Boa constrictors have a pattern of brown, reddish-brown to black "saddles" or dorsal blobs of color on a lighter background which can range through white, golden, grey or brownish, pink. Specimens from most localities have more or less prominent dark red, reddish brown or brown markings on the tail.

Deal with it!... See if you can handle snakes at pet stores.. You do NOT want to be nervous when you get your snake.. Hopefully you are getting a young one.. if so it will be easier for you.. you will have time to adapt.. it won't seem so complicated.. I suggest as much snake handling as you can, and research.. Good Luck..
