Take them with a grain of salt. They're not necessarily bad people. Maybe they think their life is interesting or exciting and they just want to tell stories. Or, they could also be insecure and are seeking approval and/or trying to make people like them. They can be a bit annoying but I don't think they mean any harm.

There is not much you can do - eventually they will realize that you can't impress everyone and make everyone happy. You just have to do things that make you happy and not live your life to impress everyone else except those you really care about.

Mine is always, bigger, faster, better, richer, whatever. It really bums them out after a while, especially if you can prove at least one. Another thing, that actually bothers almost everyone, is to look them right in the eye, then start moving my eyes independently in different, random directions. This is a skill I had to learn, not a natural wierdness. And it hurts after a few minutes. Ice cream headache, sort of.

I am afraid there is not much you can do. A person who is forever seeking attention lacks self-confidence and possibly experience low self-esteem. By craving attention, that person is actually saying that he/she needs acceptance and unconditional love. Should you find yourself in love with such a person, I wish you the best. I am a romantic at heart and believe that with time, patience, and love, the other person will learn to love him/herself.

They are expecting you to say wow and cool and stuff but dont instead do the opposite. Tell them is that it? Thats the best you could do? Make sure you dont look impressed but rather disappointed.

I let them do their thing...

Everyone has a different personality type...I try to make room for them all...so long as they are not hurting or disrespecting others.

At one time or another...our personalties have irked the people in our company....and they are bound to do so again.

Not much you can do, but accept people for who they are...

Simply ignore anything that they do. Let them know that you like them for who they are and not how much money they have, what kind of car they drive, or how much they can bench. It's about the human being.
