block off the street and have a yard sale along with the party. we had a lot of fun with these types of party. various ethnic groups playing their country music and food. we had Native American, German, Irish, Polish, English food. was educational and a chance to try ethnic foods and music.

My Goodness Yes! We had so much fun with those. The city would even bring the Worden horses and boards for us to block off the street. We would hire a high school band have fountain soft drinks and we just had a blast.

Yes!I now live in Florida and Everyone on my blocks gets together and have cook out now.It's not the same,but close and lots of fun.
