Need some kind of Glass Stove Top protector shield to avoid scratches on my stove?

HI EVERYONE IS THERE ANY KIND OF GLASS TOP STOVE PROTECTOR? I HAVE AGLASS TOP STOVE AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THEY SELL ANY KIND OF SHIELD THAT CAN BE PUT ON TOP TO PROTECT IT FROM DETERGENTS AND SCRATCHES?

kind of like the ones they sell for electric coiled stoves?

If your flat top stove is one of the new ones then you don't have to worry about scratches. I have one that I purchased a few months ago and according to the directions you can even clean really bad burned on food with a straight edge razor. I've already dropped pots and pans on mine because they hang over head and it still looks brand new. It would have to be something serious to damage that cook top.
As for detergents, there is nothing that will harm it either.

I have a glass top stove, it came with a razor blade in a holder to take things off. Use a razor blade to take scrape it off using it flat not upright and cut the excess residue down to a flat surface then use a non abrasive cleaner like VIM, Don't use anything abrasive it will damage the glass. Then wash off the cleanser with a clean damp cloth and buff it up with a soft cloth. My husband has burned many things on our stove top that's how I clean it and it works. It's also in the instruction manual. They gave me a non abrasive bottle of cleaner with the stove but any non abrasive cleanser will work. Don't use anything harsh like bleach or it will take the pattern out of the glass around the jets.
