I use disk cleaner every night before shutting down my computer. It clears out my history, cookies etc. I also run advanced windows cleaner and ccleaner both found on the link listed below. I also run my spybot and adware software as well.

You have to clear the history of the computer. Sometimes you can just click on the search bar box and when all your choices come up arrow down and when what you want to delete is highlighted, press the delete button. If that doesnt work you have to open up the internet explorer window, go into your tools, internet options, and delete the browsing history. Email me if you need more details.

It depends on your operating system and browser but all that stuff in temporary files that can be emptied usually from the 'Tools' menu on your browser. You can also set the browser to not remember previous searches or addresses that way.

This is easy with Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox, Opera, when using Windows. Just read the instructions!

You need to turn off and delete the history of auto complete. It's in the content tab when you click on tools and Internet tools. Clear forms and then uncheck everything that auto complete offers. Clearing history and deleting cookies may not clear everything you want it to

Assuming you're using something conventional like IE or FF:

Go under internet options, or tools, or whatever option you have.

Look for a tab along the lines of "history" or "privacy" or w.e. Click it.

There will be an option there relating to the history of your internet searches. Clear it.

Now you can visit those... shady? sites as often as you want ;).
