In what year did Gas Prices Rose????

Its been a steady climb since the summer of 2000, its had its ups and downs, but their was never one point that lead to the prices we have now, its been a slow and steady climb.

Around 2001 they reached a dramatic patter nof up, then down, then up some more. Thats when the trend started up. Its as if some magic switch was turned on & everyone said "Hey we can makle more money this way". I remember walking to school as a kid & seeing gas at 78 cents a gallon & it would stay at that price for months & months. Then it may go up to 84 cents in the summer. That was it. It wasnt changing by 40-50 cents every week! Also the cars made back then got 14-20 MPG. Mostly all V8's. So if you see $70~80 on the gas pump it probably was someone with a 60~80's model car.

they have risen many times..in the 60s it from 25 cents to 50 cents a gallon..it doubled in price..it has remained pretty constant since then

whenever Halliburton and the rest of Cheney's oil bastards want it to. They and Venezuela and the Arab oil countries selling us the oil have this country by the nuts until we decide we're not going to take it anymore.
