You'll be fine. Even if you ate some undercooked chicken (which I doubt) it would have to contain salmonella to make you sick (which most commerical chicken doesn't have).

And even IF you got salmonella, it would not cross the placenta and hurt the baby unless it was the very rare form called "typhi." It would only mean you would be sick for a day and then feel better.

I had the same excat thing happen to me. Although I was 38 weeks pregnant. I got food poisoning, I was pooping and puking. I got really dehydrated and had to go to the hospital, all that stuff kicked started labor and I began dialting BUT after I got rehydrated everything was fine. So I guess what I'm saying, the worst might be some puking and pooping, if you start to get crampy or hurting really bad, call the doc and tell him you think you need rehydrated, they will get you right in and fix u up!!

The most crucial developmental stage, your 1st trimester, is over so you're in the clear. Anything you eat goes through your body but it doesn't reach the baby at the same toxicity because of that huge organ called the placentia.

if you think about it, you will feel sicker and make your mind believe you are sick even if you aren't... I got food poisoning when I was pregnant with my first tho... I was like 5 months along, and I had eatten a t.v. dinner *( with chicken)*... It was mothers day adn I thought I was going to die... I couldn't stop puking and when I would throw up it would just kill my stomach... But my daughter was perfectly fine!

IF it wasn't cooked all the way - YOU may feel ill and puke or poo... but I know what you are asking is will anything happen to the baby... IF you get ill - just try to stay hydrated.
You should be fine -

If it wasn't pink, you are probably OK- even if it was under cooked, the chances of you getting sick are low and even if you do get sick, the chances of your baby getting sick are low.
Good luck!

I'm sure you'll be fine. If you get sick you will probably vomit it up before anything gets to the child. It's your body protecting the baby.

Boy that is scary. I feel for you, and I will keep you and the health of your baby in my prayers. Who knows how your body and the baby will react to the chicken, but chances are if they were small pieces that you all will be just fine. Be aware of any abnormal feelings, and if you feel concerned about it, I would go to the ER.
