If he can't pay his bills, the mortgage is foreclosed and the stuff is repossessed. If the convict owns the stuff, he will have to find a place to store it or else he will have to dispose of or liquidate it. If the convict committed a crime which victimized people, they may sue him for possession and/or liquidation of his assets.

That's an interesting question. I guess between the banking institutions holding mortgages and liens, and the family, the rest is put out on the street.

the homes and there belongings are left to there relatives. And actually if they have restitution to pay they go after there belongings is they can not pay for it. But if they don't there relatives get everything. My ex is in for 4 years and that is wheat happened to him.

The goverment will take possestion of all of his belongings and sell them in auctions, ect. His money will go to the goverment somewhere in the goverment funds as well as what they make from his belongings.

I guess, the court or gov. sale them and use the money for "public services".

Any way, I don't think the prisoner will ever use all those belognies any time soon, so why get them waste and un-used.

Whoops... guess they don't need them anymore so it doesn't really matter! The landlord will probably put it all out by the street and people will take what they want.

When payments on them are not made the property gets foreclosed and disposed of by your creditors.

guess the state takes that over too. no idea..good question. or friends take it over....But you can bet that family will step up to the plated when time for someone to take it all over.

i would think they would all their belongings would go into default. i am sure that they do not can about their credit.
