How can I transfer files from laptop to desktop using ethament cable or something like this ?

You need to get a router and connect both computers to it.... Then you need to set up a "Home Network" on both computers making sure they have the same workgroup name.

Or you can connect them directly to each other....

it's ethernet, and the only way this is possible, is if both computers are in the same network.
