This is funny, and I think it will fit your question.
My mom really likes M&Ms. I few years back she had this candy tray full of them. My wife and I were visiting at the time, and one of my kids had a bag of Skittles. I figured that I would put a few into the candy dish. I mean they look the same. In walks my mom and she grabs a hand full of candy. Not knowing that the Skittles were there, she put about five in her mouth. Half were Skittles, the other half M&Ms. The look on her face was hilarious as she realized that not all were M&Ms. Instead of tastin nothing but chocolately goodness, she also got a mouthfull of Skittles. It was funny. If you get the chance, do it to someone else.

Wendy's Frosty and fries, similar to what you just said.
An island favorite, buttered popcorn, arare (Japanese rice crackers) and furikake (seasoned seaweed). It sounds weird, but we love it here in Hawaii! We call it "Hurricane popcorn."
Nacho Cheese Doritos and vanilla ice cream.
Tuna sandwich with kim chee.
My all time favorite, blue m&m's and Lucky Charms marshmallows!

I knew a chef who used to drizzle Thousand Island dressing on top of chocolate ice cream & SWORE up & down it was very tasty.
I eat fish sandwich with cheese & BBQ sauce. OR how about mashed potatoes & ketchup?
Pork & beans & rice with sugar, BBQ sauce, butter, & weiners in it.
