Well first you need to select 2 mountain ranges that differ from each other. Generally they differences will arise from how they were formed (subduction, collision, etc). If I were you I'd pick the Mid-Atlantic Ridge and the Himalayas and there is plenty of info available on them. They are vastly different from one another in many ways. Do some research on these 2 ranges and you should be able to answer the rest of the questions.
