O.K. lets put this in perspective shall we. Yes 9 million toys were recalled but that is a drop in the bucket compared to the hundreds of thousands of millions of toys they sell every year. Do I feel sorry for them. No it is better to recall those toys than to have one child have something happen because the toys were not recalled. Keep in mind that some parents, recall or not, will not bring the toys back anyway, they will just keep them or throw them away and mattel will not loose money on those particular toys.

I feel sorry for the people whose children were harmed because of the morons at mattel.
Mattel should have known better and I hope they are sued BIG TIME.
I'm really starting to think I'm the only person who cares about the well being of children.

I am happy they did not lose more in the lawsuit that would have come from a poor child being injured.
Trust me these companies recalll products because it is the best for everyone (mainly themeselves)

Yes, For the guy who ended up killing himself, I do. There is no reason they should have used lead paint in their toys though, that is inexcusible.

Sorry but I don't. I try not to buy anything from China. But its almost impossible! I'd rather buy from Japan any day if we have to import.
