Like many other people, I just finnished Harry Potter 7.
Now i am raeding
"It's Kind Of A Funny Story" by Ned Vizzini.
but i am not that far into it.
If you like thrillers and such,
you should read
Freaky Green Eyes by Joyce Cayrol Oates.
She plays on human fears.
The title if kind of werid but it is one of the best books i have ever read.
It is told in the point of veiw of the oldest daughter with a younger sister, her mother, and her famouos sports reporter dad.
On the outside they look like ther perfect family, but it is the complete opposite.
Very good read.

Not reading anything right now. Haven't been to the bookstore this month. If you like mysteries you might like to try Stuart Woods, James Doss, John Dunning for a start. If you like mystery/thrillers you can try my favorite Matthew Reilly or maybe James Rollins, Jack DuBrul, Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child together or separately, Clive Cussler and a new author for me is Paul Christopher, good reading. Have fun and enjoy!

Just recently finished Persuasion by Jane Austen.
Started reading Lauchlin of the Bad Heart by D.R. MacDonald (advanced readers edition) & just 7 pages in I'm hooked. Seems very well written so far.
Also started listening to Gentlemen & Players by Joanne Harris on CD.
Will be travelling tomorrow & will listen to Deadly Decisions by Kathy Reichs & lost boy lost girl by Peter Straub - found the book tapes for under $5.00 so thought it was a good deal.

My sometimes writing partner finally talked me into reading Laurel K Hamilton so I am reading Guilty Pleasures. Kinda cute. Reminds me a bit of Glen Cook's Garrett books.

I am also busy proofreading and working on the first several chapters of my new novel named after a line in a famous poem - stay busy!!

TLeaf - Lamb is hilarious ... I was sittig on a train to Manhattan one day lauging my tail off aloud. People thought I was nuts until some guy said. "Oh! Lamb - no wonder you are laughing!" Next try a Dirty Job. Hilarious.

Also glad to see some of you reading some great literature. - Pax - C

Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore. It's highly entertaining so far.

Thanks Persiphone. I read A Dirty Job & loved it. Have a stack of C.M.'s books to go thru now.

I'm reading "Curious Notions" by Harry Turtledove. He's really good at alternate history, and this one is set in a world where the US is occupied by Germany because the allies lost WWII. Very intersting so far :D
