How many of you know if you r car has retreads on it?

Mine did and I don't trust them!

I do. You'd only get retreads on a used car, most likely. It's fairly easy to see the seams near the top of the sidewall near the tread, if you know what to look for. I've had them, and had both good and bad experiences with them. The worst was losing one on a trip out of town, used the spare, coming back the next day, the OTHER one went out, I had to put the first one back on, as it had steel belts showing but held air, the other was shredded. I drove it home on a 2ndairy road at 45 mph, for over 40 miles, praying it'd get me home on a Sunday. It worked, I did. I swore (later, not on a Sunday!) I'd never have retreads on a vehicle as long as I lived.

I got new tires a couple years ago and I sure hope they aren't retreads!

An educated consumer would know right away what retreads look like. i suggest you start reading consumer reports and become that educated consumer.

I have them on my concrete truck but not on any of my cars dont sale them anymore

Look carefully at the tires. You will see the seam.

i had to get new tires a couple months ago - whew - i got them at tire kingdom,so they're fine.

we don't have retreds,but hav had them in the past with no issues.you do have to watch them for wear and tear.trust your gut.

IF THEY FALL OFF U KNOW! THERE ONLY PIECES OR RUBBER GLUED ON SOME HOW BUT DONT LAST THEYRE NOT GOOD BUY NEW TIRES AND NO RE-TREADS
