I don't understand your question. Wouldn't it be weird if you DIDN'T bleed during your periods? Isn't it normal to bleed during your periods? It is EXTREMELY common to bleed during your periods.

Your question is a little confusing. Is it common to bleed while you are on your period? Is that the question? That is exactly what happens. Sometimes you can also have it early like you did and then it can stop. Many times my period will only last 3 days fairly heavy then skip 2 days, then very light flow for 2 days. Everyone is different. Many times while on BC I don't flow heavy and Doctor says that is fine because body is just cleaning everything out, and it is not a requisite to flow heavy. Most of the time my period never came every 28-30 days, it was always every 45 days which was okay by me and the Doc said okay too. Now that I am on BC it is every 28-30 days. Asking Questions: Think about exactly what you want to know and ask another question if you need to. It's okay if you don't know anything about your period, hey I had mine when I was 11 yrs old and about freaked. My adopted daughters did too. Try to tell us as much info as you can of what you are asking so we can help you and ignore the people who are not nice. You may have not worded it right, I don't know. Only you know what you meant. Hope one of us helped you. If not, word it differently and ask again. Just make sure you read it again to proof it.

Ummm, if this is a serious question then, yes. That is what having your period is. It's also called the menstruation process. During that process you bleed from your vaginal opening in which during that time your system is being cleared of negative bacteria. This should last for about 3-7 days. And if you're asking is it normal to bleed between your periods. No, it's not. You should go get that checked out. But sometimes a period is just irregular. And maybe that bleeding was your period. Sometimes the estimated period can be sooner or later than the estimated time. Mine is very... unpredictable.

Oh, you must mean is it common to bleed between your periods. I think, from reading your question that you just got your period early. They are not always regular. 3 days early isn't a bad thing and some times people do have spotting between periods as well. I hope that helped.

I'm bit confused as far as I know one usually does bleed during their period or do you mean a different kind of bleeding or bleeding when it's not your period? If you are worried visit your Doctor or you could call NHS Direct on 0845 4647. It's available 24 hours a day.

bleeding = period

if you ARE bleeding, you ARE on your period.

if you are NOT bleeding then you are NOT on your period.

When you first start your period, they are going to be irregular. They usually don't get on a regular schedule until after the first year or so. So if it came 3 days before it was "due" then whatever, it came 3 days early. NORMAL.

You're on your period. Its not a problem. You're irregular.

NORMAL.

If you bled 3 days before your period was supposed to start; that was probably your period. It was probably just a little early. So you don't need to wait for your period... It already happened. Sometimes it can be a little weird; coming when you don't expect it or not coming when you do. You'll be fine.

It's pretty common to bleed during your period. I think you should see a Doctor or a school Nurse to talk to you about your period and what to expect, because you don't seem to know what you're talking about. Either that, or I don't know what you're talking about.

Hi. (how old are you lettie)

Do you mean is it common to bleed In between Periods???

No, not really! I would advise you to see you GP (just to be on the safe side) You should only bleed ON your period!

Has this only happened the once?

I am honestly finding this question hard to understand. Are you pregnant and bleeding around the time you would normally get your period? Or is your period being sporadic?
