I mean, singlemoms get to call their ex's a "package" and that's far worse. That ex will never go away as he is the father of their children! That's why they gotta still be "friends" for the kids. So you mean to tell me she can call all THAT a package and I can't call a simple girl I'm dating or living with a "package"?! I don't get it? Will one of you divorcees explain this to a single guy?

I've never heard a single mom call her ex a package but i agree they shouldn't be calling them that. But you seem to think that it's not good for a single mom to call someone she should be friends with a package, so why would it be ok for you to call someone you are more than friends with a package? We're not something you get in the mail.

Maybe that's why you're single... No disrespect meant.

I think it is because when you date a single mom you are also accepting her child and anything that comes along with that. If you are a single guy with no kids you have no "package" deal. It has nothing to do with the father of the child but you do have to accept that he may be around for the child. If you can't then you need to be honest with yourself and admit you can't deal with dating a single mother.

I never married but yes the ex's has to remain friends for their kids stake but you said "dating" and "living with" it not right. You should say "your girlfriend name and this it her son or daughter."

The people that are looking or getting into dating and relationship then they are the ones that can say "I come with a package."

No woman wants to be referred to as if she is an object. This does not justify if she refers to an ex as a package. If she does, and you can't call her a package, it just means she has a double standard.

Let us clue you in to the facts... women like and don't like all kinds of crazy things. So what. Just play by their rules and call them whatever they want to be called and they will make you happy. Is that really so hard for you to figure out?
