My truck is 2001 chevy silverado 1500. Runs great. I've never had a problem with it. During a routine check, we found out that one of the spark pugs is pretty much shot.

a spark plug is like less than $10.00.

When doing a tune up- I think I've seen ads/coupons that advertise "tune up fo 59.95". Of course, that's just for looking and checking, and maybe some fluid changes..

If a lot of belts need replaced, that's more money. Just be cautious. I once took my car for a tune up and then looked at their recommendations- totalling $500.00!!

In the end- I let/had them replace a couple of belts. Cost me $100.00. That was 4 years ago, and have put no other work into it.

So go someplace someone recommends.. somewhere you can trust.

fyi- my car a 97 Tracer.

Look in the owners manual and see what services are required for the mileage that is on the truck. Then you can use that as a guide to estimate the cost. You can also call the service manager and ask him, they are there to help you.
