That's what president Cheney says!

Is he insane? Or are the 28% Bush kool-aid drinkers merely stupid beyone all belief?

If there was a clear objective and if achieving that objective would make this a safer world and make Americans safer, perhaps the deaths of 3700 troops could be justified.

As it is, this war is pointless and each and everyone of those deaths have been in vain. And more will die for NOTHING. The greatest foreign policy blunder in 100 years.

There is also a great Cheney statement available on the internet in which he explains why the U.S. should not go into Baghdad and attempt to take out Saddam Hussein -- 1994. Cheney has become more and more insane and delusional with age. As for the 28%, they are simply anti-American, anti-God morons, as they are the only ones still supporting Bush-Cheney.

Has the superior intellect of the left offered a solution yet to end the war in away that the Iraqi people are better off than when Saddam was over them?

Was Bush attempting to enable the UN to be relevant by encouraging them to enforce their sanctions? Since the UN chose to be irrelevant Bush had to stand up to Saddam or become equally irrelevant.

Carter choosing not to stand-up to Iran opened the door for the Terror organizations.

Oh, I forgot some one just found a way to create a Utopia! To bad none of the rest of us are enlightened to see how real it is!

Opinion in Brittain upon that nation's entry into WWI in August of 1914 was that it woud be "over by Christmas."

Brittain lost nearly one million citizens to WWI. The combined death toll was almost 20 million.

Yeah, 'cakewalks' often turn out to be the worst, as the side anticipating an easy victory makes inadequate preparations and strategic mistakes early in the conflict.

Those good men were sent there by your congress. Cheney and Bush did not and does not have that power or authority in our government. Our Congress can stop it at anytime, so they must also think it is a valid cause.

Wher is your hate toward Ms. Clinton, Mr. Carey, Mr. Reed, etc., etc.?

Those heros are protecting us and trying to win a war with Islamic Radicals, while people like you support the enemy and make it more difficult, which just kills more of our good men. You are willing to kill our soldiers just to satisfy your hate for Bush. Bush didn't send us to war, the congress did!

Unbelievable, the second responder actually thinks Iraq had something to do with 9-11. How is that possible????????

I never get it when people want to post the number of casualties in other wars. Like they are trying to sugar coat this one. What THEY don't get is that this war did NOT have to happen and that since it did NOT have to happen, the loss of even ONE U.S. troop is too many.

Ask any of the veterans of Tarawa, where we lost 5,000 dead in 3 days, who were told, "You will only need two men, one to shoot them and one to chalk them up."
