There are construction delays due to road work on the California side which will last about two more years. But, the interstate is open. The URL below has a link for traffic conditions.

It is always open!!!! It might be closed for a crash, for a while. But that is the only way in or out of Vegas for southern Ca.

AS of last nite ,it was open constuction delays { what else is new?} but open. unless a crash!!!
