I was just wondering because I've heard different things.

There is always a chance of getting pregnant wether it is your first ot 100th time. Always practice safe sex to prevent an unwated pregnancy or STD's.

If you don't want to become pregnant, the chances increase significantly ;-)

Seriously, though, it doesn't matter if it's your first time or your hundredth time. Other things, such as contraceptives and your cycle make a difference, but nothing is guaranteed to prevent or ensure a pregnancy.

If you are asking this because you've had sex for your first time, the best thing to do is not stress, as stress can cause your period to come late (which causes more stress). Take an over-the-counter pregnancy test in two weeks, which should be fairly accurate by then (if you get a negative, try again a week later).

If you don't use birth control, you can get pregnant first time every time. All that stuff guys tell you about "you can't get pregnant the first time" is stupid. If menstrual flow comes from your uterus and leaves your body , it is taking the same road that the sperm take. It is a two way street. I don't know why anyone would believe that you couldn't get pregnant the first time. All you have to do is think a little bit, a very little bit.

There is a 0%-100% chance!!! I'm saying this because with my 1st pregnancy I got pregnant 500 time my husband and I tried. I'm not joking, and with my 2nd I got pregnant while on the shot.

I've been off birth control for over 6 months and my husband and I have not yet conceived. I think your timing really matters. You are more likely to get pregnant if you have sex around 14 days before your next period is due to start. You are less likely to get pregnant if you have sex the day before your period is due to start. (but I'm sure there have been cases when you can ovulate later than normal because of stress, travel, illness and such and still get pregnant the day before your period)

Some people try for a year+ before concieving, some concieve without trying at all, everyone is different, your chances are about 25% I guess the first month.

A woman who is trying to concieve only usually has a 20% chance every month. I don't think the chance is very high, but it's still possible.

Really low, but it can happen.

Honestly, I don't know why women don't use birth control pills. They have come so far these days. That new Yaz pill will make you a better woman. If you go on it now when that day comes it can be special and you don't have to worry about being pregnant.

Well, there's a 50/50 shot every time you have sex, doesn't matter what kind of birth control you use, none are 100% effective, there's always a failure rate.

To answer your question, I got pregnant my first time.

The same odds as every other time. If you are too young to be raising a child, then you're too young to think about having sex.
