I don't buy into the man-made global warming hype, but do believe in saving and preserving our environment.

Years ago, I began conserving, planting new trees and feel that everyone can contribute to keeping a clean environment. I'm not at all apposed to mandating control of pollutants. It makes common sense.

Like the rest of their bastardization of Christianity ,the American whacko Christian fundamentalists have always panned "global warming" and other such ominous warnings as being either something GOD will protect them against OR that these events are in fact the coming of the FRIGGIN RAPTURE when God pulls His/HER Armeggedden and we all go down the drain in two different direction however.

As a consequences these stinking dangerous religious fundamentalists ,just carry on as they always have.

The problem of course that there are some 50 million of these horrid fundies in the US and because they like the lemmings they are vote as a bloc for Republicans they have a profound effect on the outcome of Presidential elections and de fact on the world itself as the US is the world's only super power.

They simply MUST be stopped period.

No, like scientifically-trained Democrats they wait until the world's scientific community come to a consensus rather than jump on political bandwagons.

That's why, as we're coming to the end of an ice-age, as we look at the cooling and heating trends of the last few centuries, not just years, we don't jump on the "global cooling" fad a few decades ago, nor the Y2K fad, nor this one.

When scientists agree, it's reason to act.
Until then millions are making money off this fad as well.

When all the politicians on one side agree, and all the politicians on the other don't,...

...we're being played for fools.

Get the consensus, then we'll talk.

If you can't prove your case to the scientific community as a whole, emotional appeals, political bigotry, and spreading unfounded rumors aren't going to do it for me.

Boy, you don't read the Bible do you. It says there will be total world peace before Satan comes and starts his thousand year reign on earth then Christ will come. It's easy to see how you liberals always get everything screwed up and lose every time.
