When The Republicans went after Clinton..It cost them seats. Let me be pre-emptive here...I know Congress is charged Constitutionally with oversight duties. One quote had the count at 300 investigations in 100 days...

By the way...I know that this question will likely draw smart a@s answers...that's cool...But please...NO DUMBASS answers

At this point, if congress were to pursue impeachment (which would be an exercise in futility) it would definitely cause further harm to their already low approval rating as it would be seen as more partisan politicking as opposed to actually doing the jobs they were elected to do.

BTW: Nacy Pelosi is the representative from perhaps the most extreme left-wing district in the country. Her views should in no way be construed as those of mainstream America or even moderate liberals. I hope Cindy Sheehan runs for and defeats Pelosi for her congressional seat. That would be so darn funny.

I don't believe the Democrats have been diligent enough. If Clinton's peccadilloes (bj/oval office/Blewinsky) were instead gross breaches of the office of the president by starting a war based on lies generated by his own politburo apparatchiks, the Republicans would have not only had him impeached but would have burnt him at the stake. Where is the Democrats' version of Ken Starr? Instead of "I have is DNA" he could be yelling "I have his half a brain." No, wait, that doesn't work. Hmmm.

Like it hasn't cost us already?

We have five things to clean up, and then we'll come back strong:

End the name-calling;
End the rumor-spreading;
End the "guilty until proved innocent" attitude;
End the sedition;
End the socialism.

We do that we come back strong.

One more thing: Our country comes first, not our party. That's not for our party. It's for our country.

Now, if the Republicans don't...

...well, more for us!

yes it has already manifested itself in the lowest poll ratings for any Congress in the history of the US. 3% at last count...many of those remaining dead enders are on YA tonight.

Not in particular, it is only part of their nearly accomplishment-less term.
