So I have a 3 month old baby skunk...to get this out of the way: shes lavender/tan color, yes she's descented, has no more smell than a house cat, she is fixed, she uses a litter box.
Not legal in most states, but is here in mine...

Anyway, she has roundworms, and I got her the wormer and fed it to her... How long til the worms are expelled?

PS. Everyone who owns a ferret should really just get a skunk. They're in the same family, but skunks are actually cuddly, they play WITH you instead of just being retarded, they are bigger and can't get lost so easy, and most of all, they use a litter box and DO NOT STINK!. God ferrets reek.

a pet skunk would be fun, but maybe ringworms would be a downside.

I can't imagine cuddling with a skunk, even if it didn't stink.

puppy skunks are criminal to very own in each state different than CA, WA, Alaska and Hawaii...They make super pets, yet are very not ordinary to preserve. The fragrance glands of a skunk could properly be bumped off while they are youngsters so as that may not something to stress approximately. Skunks are captive bred in many states!

The worms are expelled pretty quickly--usually within 24 hours. With roundworms you'll want to repeat the deworming every 2 weeks for a couple more treatments. You can get roundworms, too, so wash your hands well after cleaning up after her.

Even after they are descented, when they get older, they can still give off an odor. Find an Exotic pet Vet in your area and ask them about the worming.
