I found that high school wasn't really hard as long as you do the work and prepare adequately for tests and such. A big part of this is staying organized as well. If you are considering college at some point, then keeping your grades up is a good idea as is participation in activities (they don't have to be school-centered activities necessarily; I did not like what my HS offered and wasn't into sports, but was active in my church and did some volunteer work on the side).

To remember that who we are in high school wont matter in the real world. If you ask this is because you really arent the type that is popular. Meaning that you will pretend to be who you arent to impress others. And you pretend long enough you end up like that for real. And when you lose yourself like that, you wont have a chance to start over again after you graduate like others do. But if you want to know just smile and nod at the right times, and be as mean as possible, that will get you going.

Show up to class, study and self discipline. Keep up and don't fall behind in your studies. Talk to your counselor and make sure you curriculum is right for for you future plans. Take time to make lots of friends too.

Never procrastinate!! That's gotten me sooo many bad grades...
Other than that, being able to believe in your abilities and what you bring to the table.

Don't try to be part of the crowd with drinking and drugs! And please don't start having sex until you're older than 18. Cause once you start, its hard to stop with an open mind.
