Mine was Ms. Ramires. At the time I was in 7th grade and she was my language arts teacher. Since she was the youngest teacher out of all the others, she related to us teens then. She knew exactly what drama and pressure we were going through. She was always very nice and would tell us the craziest stories.

I had a few. [Luckily, I got some very good teachers.]

Mrs. Johnson[Kindergarten & first grade]: We were her first class, so she wasn't old and boring yet, she was so exciting and she was the best teacher for my first school years.

Mrs. Stotlar[Second grade]: She was old, but not boring. She was the sweetest teacher. We sang songs, played games, we even decorated paper dinosaurs whenever we learned all about them. At Christmas, we all got out in the hallways and she brought out her piano and we sang Christmas songs. It was great.

Mr. Skeete[Sixth grade]: Another one of my energetic teachers. We played this game, I don't remember what it was called, but we guessed the song name while he played music. Music Trivia I think.. It was fun. He also cleaned out his desk at the end of the year and gave us all this cool stuff. We also always had cool projects where we'd learn about a country, present it, and bring in one of the foods from the country and could all eat it in class. He'd let us cheat off of each other's homework for his class, as long as we didn't do it in his class. He let us chew gum, as long as we gave him a piece. He was really cool.

A lovely English teacher by the name of Jan Maggiore. She was a breath of fresh air in a stale little town filled with stale small minded people. She brought art, literature, and theater into the the life of a kid from the middle of nowhere, and opened up the world.

Ms. Berenguer. My mom. I got to have her as my mat teacher in the first grade. She was awesome. I loved her. My mom is so sweet and understanding with kids. I've never had a better teacher. I wish she was still my teacher.
