No, we still drive like crazy. We live in a small town though so it's not toooo wasteful I guess.

Yeah, I decided I didn't want to use gas anymore so I built a producer gas generator. My car runs on anything from wood to leaves to grass clippings. The device is made out of a paint can, a trash can, and an old oil drum. It basically looks like a water heater strapped to the back of my car but it works. I don't pay for gas.
This is how Europe functioned during WWII after oil supplies dwindled.

Oh yes. Lost 5 pounds hiking around when the prices were over $3 and now that they're lower, the car isn't working. It's a sad situation.

I've been very conscious of my driving for some time. I've always been very good about combining trips and all that. So, I may have gotten a bit more careful, but I think I've pretty much sucked all the slack out of my driving at this point.

Probably, since we have been trying to conserve by combining our trips to the store, etc. 1 fillup a week @ $22.00 is now $ 30. plus!
