Often... but i do it for my own good. It's nice to be able to convince myself that my job is super fun. It works....amaizng!

I lie to myself way more that I should.
I deny all my problems and sometimes I even manipulate things in my head so much that I start actually believing my own lies...
I know what you mean about not even knowing who you are anymore. I'm like that myself...but I don't even want to know who I am.
The reason I lie to myself is so that I can go on and so that I can stop the constant pain, regret, and confusion inside me. If I DIDN'T lie to myself, I would've been buried a long time ago.
People will always be so quick to tell you "A lie is a lie and that's always wrong" but it's not. It's nowhere close. Lieing is sometimes mandatory for survival. If you see a little girl with her face heavily scarred and she asks her classmate if she thinks she's pretty and her classmate says the TRUTH, which is no, I think you're ugly... that's hurtful. Yes, that girl should've lied.
Life isn't simple nor is it easy... people mess up and people hurt people and people kill others in many many ways. If you want the TRUTH about everything around you...If you want to look in the mirror and see yourself for what you REALLY and TRULY are, you would suffocate...
So yes, I lie to myself and I lie to others. I lie so I can smile, and so you can smile, and so the world continues.
I don't know myself and I don't know the world, and quite frankly, I really don't want to. So take me for what I'm capable of giving you, and let's both just let the rest burn...
