Do you think it is fair that a non-working spouse should receive half of the fortune when in a divorce? Example: Michael Jordan having to give up his home, property, and other assets topping close to 150 million dollars. Along with child support & ALIMONY! I feel that the one who was clearly not the bread winner isn't entitled to half. I feel she owes him something for not having to work for the past 15 some odd years and being able to live the life of luxury. In all fairness she does deserve a few million (enough to live off of).

she gets half. if he didn't want to provide for her, he shouldn't have made so much money.

you have to be really stupid to marry anyone if your making some major money. A woman will do anything for a rich guy when she's single. Once you marry them they stop doing anything to make you even remotely happy.

sure she didn't earn what he does but marriage is 50/50...it doesn't mean you do half , it means you do your share...she has for 15 yrs...regardless, she ends up with 50%.

I don't relate with celebrity issues.
I am more interested in issues the everyday person faces.
