I'm just sick of all the obligations and expectations of everyday life. I'm dropping out of society. Goodbye all.

One does not drop successfully out of society to escape obligations and expectations. No matter where you go, you will just be hiding from yourself, which you cannot do. So, that would just be another mess of a life. But, one CAN drop out of society to rest and to seek greater awareness. I did. It's not good to escape and hide and wallow in idle spirit, which binds you as a man to a rotting corpse of the past. But, it is VERY good to set out to forge a brighter world for yourself, to actively recover your strength and sense of humor and to go forth into each new day of a new life with a fresh spirit.

I happen to agree with your observation that gender equality or what the USA think is general equality is just bias and hypocritical. Now and days what does a man gain from getting married? A woman can get a divorce and keep all the things including children even if she is the one who cheats. If a woman wants to put some one in jail all she has to do is bite her lip and call the police. Im not trying to be sexist here. I can safely say that it is men who allow this to happen for example if a woman makes advances on a guy he will gladly accept. But if a man makes an advance on a woman he can be guilty for sexual harassment. society has a false sense of what a man should do. If a man beats on a woman then it is a serious matter but what happened when tiger woods was getting chased by a woman carrying a golf club? Then it's hilarious.

Assuming its a goodbye to society have a nice way walk. Society is nothing but a immaterial concept so empty as it sounds exactly for that= means nothing is a non face idea where all bad things can fit and the highest philosophical principles try to touch = with its superb "utopic" sense - thank God.
Please smile

I think your only choice might be to meditate and fast and stuff like that, denounce suffering and desire. I here it's pretty peaceful. Those buddha guys did it. You don't have to be a buddhist though. John the baptist did it. In fact his cousin Jesus started a whole coven and they all did it too.
