I would have to say that I have improved, matured and transformed. I used to suffer from depression and social anxiety, be very suicidal, and very angry. I was also very submissive- I did whatever anyone told me to do. I was scared to speak up, and scared to be myself, which eventually led to a major identity crisis that lasted for years.

This was mainly in my adolescent years, but also carried on into part of my adulthood as well. It wasn't until about 3 or 4 years ago, that I started to change my life, and rediscover my true self again. It has only been about 2 years since I have been living almost completely free from all of that. I still have my moments now and then, like everyone, but I am able to deal with them now, release those emotions, and they do not last very long. And most of all, I know who I am again. I feel free. I am in control now. I had control all along, I just didn't realize it. If you were to see pictures of me back then, you could see the sadness in my eyes, and the inner emotions that were expressed through my physical appearance, and you would probably think that I was a completely different person.

I still would not consider myself in full bloom, though, because I feel like I still have years full of wisdom left to gain, just within this lifetime. I still do not know everything, and I am still rediscovering new parts to myself all the time. But that's what makes life so exciting, in my opinion. The journey of constant discovery and growth.

I would say that I am a Matured, Grown up, who as she has Aged, was Transformed, from a Scared little Girl, into an improved, Full-blown, Woman. As you can see I have used all the Words you wrote, to describe what I was to What I have become. I am a very stubborn Woman, that when I am right nothing or nobody will be able to, make me think otherwise. Stagnant, or Stale, I am not.

I'm still grieving over the death of our 20 year old son who passed away 2 and a half years ago. Eric Clapton's son died and the mother of his child said she took 4 years to heal from it.
I try to use humor [as the best medicine] and I write poetry to express my feelings, even though I couldn't care less for poetry before our son passed away. Yes, I'm aged [44 years old], matured physically, grown up but I've been transformed into a child again and cry a lot for all the suffering in this stupid and meaningless world...improved - no [I feel like I've lost my innocence from when I was a child while growing up in a mostly happy home] and I am no longer in full bloom but feel more wilted and stagnant.

I am aged a bit, matured a lot, transformed -absolutely, improved - yes, full bloom- no . I will continue to age, to mature to grow up, transform and improve it is what life is about to live and learn. I am more serious about some things, I have learned to seek knowledge and have become more wise but I am smart enough to know not to take life to seriously, still a kid at heart and yet still too young to stop learning and changing. i 'm happy. confident and comfortable with who I am and I am very assure of myself and my capabilities. I use to be immature, selfish, too serious, sad and unhappy, no confidence and was unsure of my self. My life was a mess and now it is a lovely happy balance.

I think EVOLVED is a good word for me on this one. Ten years from now, I will be even further evolved from this point now.

Remember, we're not just aiming at maturity or any one particular goal. It's all about the journey and enjoying the trip along the way.

In that way, I guess I could also say I'm a "better traveler" than I used to be, because these days I am enjoying life's journey more than I used to. I think the older we get, the more able we are to step back and look at ourselves and see what's going on with us and those around us. Makes the journey much more interesting!

Apologies for hardly an answer except.....

AGED, MATURED, GROWN UP, TRANSFORMED, IMPROVED, FULL-BLOOM....??

... like fine wine, sounds like a description that might flatter a 90 year old. If it does describe me, I'll wait a few decades or so to recognize it.

I have improved and transforned, but am not in full- bloom.
I can be stubborn, but also giving.
I hope I am neve stagnant or stale...that would be sad.
I have matured, but refuse to age.

What I was before was less mature, too submissive, never stubborn and always timid.
Time and life experiences have made me what I am now and it is a new and improved me.

I'd have to say transformed, but then that's the way I felt yesterday--I think that I feel I'm in a constant state of transformation. I wonder what it would be to feel in "Full-bloom?" I see it as a flower, full bloom before the petals drop away--the end of this journey?
I don't relate to any of the others.....

Improved? I hope. Let's say there was a lot of blood under the bridge, & many fields of wildflowers. It's probably rather the same now, but I've learned to accept--& see whatever harmony is in it all, if that's improvement....I've been perceived as stubborn, which to me is standing solidly by what I believe is right for me. What is full-bloom???
