My check was late and I asked him about why and he just started walking away without even acknowledging that he heard me, so I walked after him and said it louder - I KNOW YOU HAVE MY CHECK NOW I'M SERIOUS DUDE, I NEED IT. Then it looked like he was taking out some pepper spray so I started running away. But, now I feel like he needs to be fired because my check came the next day. Advice???

i can sympathize with waiting for a specific piece of mail...if can be frustrating.
my father was a mail carrier for 20 years and you cannot impeach the mail carrier. But if you DO have proof that he indeed was withhold your mail, you can call the post office or visit the post office and speak to his supervisor.
There have been incidents where mail carriers did not deliver all their mail...and they were terminater.
just fyi---the reason he walked away is that they are taught to not get into any confrontations....and yes-you are right he probably was getting the pepper spray out.
and...remember he is a federal employee, so you don't want to physically or verbally assult him; cause you can be arrested on 'federal charges'.
so from this point on---talk to him nicer, treat him with respect (cause he does a hard job)...and if you have any complaints...talk with his supervisor.

Well, good thing he has pepper spray. No wonder they go postal -- cause of jerks like you.
How do you know even the check just didn't get mailed late? Why would you think he needs to be fired, when you don't even know the details? If you're screamed at him, you kinda made yourself look like a jackass, you can't blame him.

Do you think it could be at all possible that the people who mailed your check sent it out late?
Now, out of the hundreds of people he's delivered mail for, why do you think he would choose YOU to screw with and not bring you your check?
I would have pepper sprayed your dumb *** myself, and from now on, I would make sure I held your check in my bag for a couple of days so you didn't get it on time!
Someone needs to impeach you from this planet!

Impeach the mail carrier? There are so many things wrong with this question that I wouldn't even know where to begin...

IMPEACH: charge (a public official) with an offense or misdemeanor committed while in office.
Doesn't sound like anything you might be able to do, does it?
Contact you check source and set up direct deposit.
THEN when it's late, impeach the bank.

Just curious...why would he carry around your check so it got to you late? It was probably sent late or there was a mix up at the post office, i dont think your mail man is intentionally holding your checks.

You sound like a crazy person. Why are you walking after him? You will get yourself in trouble. The mail carrier is not holding back your mail--------that is a federal offense and he can go to jail. Relax yourself, be nice and friendly. It is easier.
