I would go with Socialist and Facist. the Bush Republicans are in no way Conservative. They do not believe in a Balanced Budget, the centerpiece of Conservative Politics.
Conservatives don't believe in Foriegn Aid, Foriegn Alliances or Foriegn Wars. Conservatives would never support the Patriot Act. If you look at the definition of Facism they are an exact fit. Likewise with the Liberal Democrats and Socialism. It is not a matter of calling names it it a matter of correcting the labels to show what is in the jar.

McCain became under no circumstances a fascist. he's unquestionably have been given extremely a reasonable checklist interior the Senate - nicely, for an elderly republican, it incredibly is a enormously reasonable checklist. He has a protracted historical past of making bi-partisan compromises. In 2000, he lost the standard to Bush II for no longer be conservative /adequate/. And Obama is in trouble-free terms a backyard-form welfare-state socialist. actual communists do no longer run for election, the lead revolutions. nevertheless, in spite of in case you probably did have a call between a fascist and a communist, the fascist continues to be the extra suitable (fairly much less poor) decision. the two choose to make certain brutal oppressive states and could persecute chosen minorities and grant priviliges to the cronies of a small inner circle. yet, a minimum of there's an excellent gamble of financial growth under fascism, so issues ought to no longer be that undesirable for terribly some the human beings, perpetually.

You know… I want to say you are right.
True liberals, in the purest sense of the word are not communists. However, their views are more slanted towards socialist ideologies.
If you ever read any of my essays, questions or answers it would be right to note that I prefer to use the words contemporary liberal or progressive. I try to not paint with too broad of a brush.
The fact still remains that if you attend most protests or political action gatherings hosted by a progressive or contemporary liberal organization, there will be socialists and communists attending. If you visit a contemporary liberal or progressive “news site” or blog you will definitely see a socialist/communist slant. Many of them outright declare it.

A liberal is only branded a communist but these are two different ideologies just like a conservative that is being treated as a fascist. Political parties must avoid calling each other with other names because people are confused.

The difference is a liberal knows the definitions of communism and fascism. Most Cons don't know what they mean. Look up fascism in the dictionary. It's almost word for word what's been happening here in the US for the last 4 years. Most Cons disagree with it because they don't know the definition.
As for the commie insults - Anytime you call 911, you're using a socialized program. If you're kids go to public school, you're using a socialized program. By their(Con/Rep) definition, every US citizen is communist in one way or another. I would rather be a communist than a fascist.

Are there any communists left?
Were there any to begin with?
What do they call those things on the wall on either side of the podium in the House of Representatives, you know they are a bundle of sticks tied together with an axe. The Romans used them, I forget the name...
Oh wait that's right they are called faces and represent the masses held together by force of arms. Now why would that symbol be in the House?
Wierd.

Come on, this is really all a big game and we all love each other. We send each other PM's that say "good one, he he!" after hours. Then we meet for beers and darts.
