I've read that they become shy in general, maybe even afraid of older people. some dont want to be left alone with the abuser, to the point where they freak out if they are going to be left alone with them. Some kids will start exploring sexual things with other kids because they get confused. If you are concerned about any abuse you should get some help for the kid

The perp has dominion over the childs inner most feelings. They have made a special relationship with the child and all adults know children look up to them and think they are right about everything. The only way you could get it out of the child is by acknowledging them of what sexual abuse is and how it could happen, why it happens and that it is a crime nomatter what the adult tells them in private. Explain that the perp might threaten them if they tell anyone, and want to keep it a secret. Letting the child know what is appropriate and what is not is a great place to start.

The actual bhr of the child in school, the playground and the home will actually be the bhr that is "telling" about the abuse! The child's bhr w/the abuser can be so distorted out of fear, guilt, dependency that it's not appearent what he is doing to h/her. --Why the qu? Someone you know needs help?
