Hopefully not near me in South Texas...already had over 18" of rain at my place in the last month...and JUST ducked tropical storm Erin...

I believe Hurricane Dean will be landing much further south then the current projected path. I feel that when it hits the Yucatan north of Belize it will pretty much take a due west approach towards Mexico and as far as the center of the storm stay well clear south of Texas.

Based what I have seen in the projected path, it should hit in the South Texas, North Mexico area sometime Wednesday.
