Why do you guys and girls feed in to the "bashing" questions? Aren't we above that? Don't you think if we STOPPED answering these type of questions these people would go away? We should not stoop to their level; as long as you pour gas, the fire will only get bigger. When the trolls ask a demeaning question, the fireworks go off like the 4th of July. By bashing these people back, don't you think we are dropping ourselves to their level?

Sometimes it's better if we say nothing.

People, it's just a war of words. No one wins or loses. So why lower your self to meet their LOW standards?

Someone mentioned "points" Points really DON"T mean anything; it's not like we are turning them in to cash.

I agree... in fact, I posted something like this earlier... and it's no use, it'll just continue.

frequently happening travellers will understand correct to the variety right here, yet somebody clicking on a question that's on view outdoors of this section could desire to not realises the place it fairly is until eventually ultimately they're actually right here, then they're going to ask your self why that's in this class. that's an comprehensible reaction, in spite of the undeniable fact that it does get stressful would not it? i understand that's for LGBT correct questions purely, yet that they had be so uninteresting does not they? a metamorphosis is surprisingly much as good as a relax, and all that.

I know that rationally it's better to report, block and to move on when it's trolls but there are some statements or slander/abuse that you need to point out as wrong, there are some who will never see how filled with hate they are as they think that they are speaking the truth. I don't get why people respond for points as that does seem like encouragement or acknowledging the trolls

If we stopped answering those questions --- well -- if you look at the answers I give when I can, and the ones that I gave as radagast_23 then you will see why I answer.

I don't care about the homophobes, only the OTHER readers.

And no, they would never stop -- they are afraid -- fear is not a good thing. I pity them so much.

And pass up the opportunity for 2 points? I think that when you recognize that a basher has posted something, you either report it and move on or make something funny up to answer their lame question. I think that alot of people here think that there is this small group of people who meet on a regular basis and decide how to deman LGBT people today. Its not that serious, it just seems like it happens alot. But its all throughout the Answers community. There is just alot of hate out there. I think LGBT people are a little more sensitive to it because of what they have to deal with in the real world.

With all due respect I must disagree with you. I come from the 40s-50s when we did keep quiet, Our silence gave the likes of Joe McCarthy the belief that he and his cohorts could just push us farther into the closet until we finally stood up for ourselves. We must respond forcefully, but not aggressively. every time we are attacked. Those who attack us are bullies and as long as they perceive us as weak it will only get worse.

That's a good idea, but you know what? At the end of the day they're BRAINLESS trolls and if we're silent, they'll be smug and gloating all over the place coz they'll end up thinking "OH they don't have an answer, the f*gs... that must mean WE are right.."

SO in that case I prefer giving it to them, coz the dumbasses will never know sarcasm if it hits them BANG on the face.

But still if they DID have a pea of a brain I think this idea would be quite valid.

Yeah, but how do we get everyone to stop? Many of us have tried to ignore the trolls right off the board, but way too many get sucked in. It is so pointless. These idiots aren't worth my time.

I've always ignored them. All they want is attention...but some people still find the need to give it to them, or get their 2 points or whatever. I can only control what I say, and I ignore...but as much as you tell people to ignore them, there will always be people who will answer. But I agree with you.

I ignore them now because I can't be bothered. But its obvious with some that they hang around the LGBT forum for attention. Oh why are there such losers in this world?
